I am very excited to officially welcome you to GCP #19!
As you know the music for this one is an arrangement of: CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE - by Vince Guaraldi, from the classic Snoopy Holiday movie from 1965: A Charlie Brown Christmas

As always there's a part for everyone and all levels of experience - from beginners to pros. And I will be hosting regular zoom practice sessions just like last project.
This is a brand new arrangement, so there may be a few issues.

And - NEW for GCP #19
LIVESTREAMING ARRANGING
Starting next week, I hope you will join me live on zoom, for an experiment...as I will attempt to live to build the arrangement of ANOTHER Charlie Brown Christmas song: Linus and Lucy for us from scratch, putting it all together, assembling the sheet music and recording the backing tracks for the second piece of our project performance.
We will talk improvisation as well....because you will get a chance to submit an improvisation recording as well...think Harrison Crabfeathers (check that one out HERE)
These sessions, will be hosted over Zoom starting November 7, so you can dive in and out if you want.Nov 7 @ 9am Nov 8 @ 9am Nov 9 @ 9am Nov 10@ 9am (if necessary) and just FYI I'll probably be out of connection for a few days. - I'm then leaving for the weekend, performing with Atlas Tango Project two nights (one sold-out already) in Sante Fe New Mexico, 11/11 and 11/12 at "The Gig". |
