| Smiles all around! I have been working on the backing tracks tonight, and I am very happy to be able to bring you a slower version to practice AND RECORD with - its 14% slower for those of you care HOW much slower. And its still a VERY FUN tempo! Have a listen and see what you think. We will run one or two of them at the next practice session. SO YES, that means OFFICIAL backing tracks are up.
No upload link yet (coming next), but you can actually record your part now if you are ready.... Just don't delete it from your camera roll! Go ahead and give it a shot just to put yourself in the pressure of doing it, because you WILL get better doing it. Download and give these new tracks a try.

Another really great live session today. More really good questions asked and answered and some great discussions. I shared my practice tips on chromatic scales, how to get your bow to bounce off the string, and I talked about having a relaxed bow hold, and ways to play faster and faster with less and less effort (its the only way!) Part 3 was the chosen focus, and I presented two versions - one with the music for you to follow, and one with a closer view of me playing as requested - I hope this is useful for you!

 | FRIDAY NIGHT/SATURDAY MORNINGI wanted to do something especially for our cellists in other time zones, so I have scheduled a live practice session early in the morning for me on Zoom at 1am CST Saturday morning…I’m talking to you Japan, Australia, China! Of course anyone can join from anywhere. I really hope you will be able to take advantage of this and join me as I answer your questions and we play through some of the parts.
